Olevia’s expertise is rooted in the soil of Sabah. Her career began as a local guide at a Rafflesia garden, a passion that eventually led her to pursue a degree in Financial Economics at University Malaysia Sabah. However, the call of the wild was stronger, leading her to transition into full-time professional guiding in 2015.

Having served in key roles at Borneo’s most prestigious conservation sites, including Tabin Wildlife Reserve, Kawag Danum Lodge, and the Borneo Rainforest Lodge in Danum Valley. Olevia has a rare “360-degree” view of the industry. She has spent nearly a decade translating the complexities of the rainforest for guests from around the globe. Today, she uses her deep field knowledge and academic background to curate bespoke itineraries that reveal the “hidden” Sabah, ensuring every journey is both professionally managed and soulfully executed.
